Beijing Emperor’s Cup International Ice Hockey
Tournament 2010

The Olympic ice hockey tournament in Vancouver has
ended with a riveting gold medal game between Canada
and the USA, but in Beijing the action is just
heating up as youth hockey players from all over
Asia congregate for the inaugural Emperor’s Cup
International Ice Hockey Tournament. Hosted by the
Sports Beijing Imperial Guard Hockey Club, this 18
team event will take place from April 1-4th and will
include league contenders from Hong Kong, South
Korea, Singapore and Shanghai as well as premier
teams from Harbin and Beijing, traditional hot beds
of hockey in China.
Philip Ho the tournament director has been
overwhelmed by the response to participate in this
inaugural tournament, “Since this was our first
year, we carefully chose 18 of the strongest teams
we could find in the region. Once other teams caught
wind of the tournament, we were inundated with
requests to participate. Next year we hope to
increase the number of teams with club champions
from Japan, Dubai and New Zealand also competing.”
With the popularity of ice hockey taking off around
the world, this tournament will showcase the skills
of some of Asia’s finest, as many of the best youth
hockey players in the region representing three
different age divisions compete against each other
for the Emperor’s Cup. All the hockey action will
take place at the Hokay Ice Rink in Gaobeidian and
admission is free.

2010年北京帝王杯国际冰球锦标赛
2010年温哥华冬奥会精彩的男子冰球加拿大队和美国队的金牌争夺战落幕了，但是，来自亚洲的青少年冰球运动员们即将齐聚北京，拉开首届北京帝王杯国际冰球锦标赛的帷幕。此次北京帝王杯国际冰球锦标赛是由北京市京体时代御林军青少年冰球俱乐部主办，共有18支队伍参与竞争，他们是来自香港，韩国，新加波，上海联赛有望夺冠的冰球队，以及来自中国冰球项目较为火热的哈尔滨和北京的优秀冰球队，赛事将于4月1~4日进行。
锦标赛主任菲力普•何先生最近收到了来自四面八方关于参与这次北京首届帝王杯国际冰球锦标赛的询问，回应和支持，“因为这是我们的第一年活动，我们非常慎重地在我们地区选择了18支实力较为强势的队伍参赛，当其他球队得知锦标赛的消息后，都迅速作出反应并与我们联系，表示要积极参与，在此，我们感谢各方面的关注。明年，我们希望有更多来自日本，迪拜和新西兰俱乐部的冠军队与我们在冰场上共同竞争，将我们参赛队伍的数量翻倍。”
随着冰球运动在世界范围内的日益流行，这次的锦标赛也将为我们展示出一些亚洲最好的冰球技术，
这是因为有许多这个地区的优秀青少年冰球运动员要代表三个不同的年龄组去争夺帝王杯，让我们拭目以待这一时刻的到来。所有冰球赛事将在高碑店浩泰冰场举行，免费入场。
